| Beyond the Rocker Box
Working with
composite materials and heav(i/en)ly inspired from
American telescope making movement and the fascinating live work of John Dobson and all those beautiful and clever minimalist telescope designs from Bruce Sayre, Greg Babcock, Mel Bartels, Dave Kriege and so many others, Vivian Bock became involved with telescope making from 1999. She simply couldn't stop thinking about a very purist minimalist telescope to see more but with much less to carry... Eventually the kind and generous support of members of the University of Cambridge and the Greenwich Observatory made it possible.

| We dedicate our efforts to serve amateur astronomers with specifically designed instruments and services for those, who otherwise couldn't undertake any star observing sufficiently due to their poor seeing conditions within their own living environments. We do NOT intend to replace any commonly known and well working constructions - industrially produced or home made - from the yards or gardens of those lucky people who find already good seeing conditions where they live. | |
